Pivya (pivmecillinam) indication

PIVYA is indicated for the treatment of female patients 18 years of age and older with uncomplicated urinary tract infections (uUTI) caused by susceptible isolates of Escherichia coli (E. coli), Proteus mirabilis, and Staphylococcus saprophyticus.

Common Symptoms of an Uncomplicated Urinary Tract Infection

Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are most often caused by bacteria (germs) that get into the bladder, which is part of the urinary tract. Uncomplicated uUTIs are also called bladder infections. Uncomplicated uUTIs are common, especially in women. If you have a UTI, you may have some or all of these symptoms:
